Migration law in Australia is constantly changing and can often be a confusing area of law. It requires exact knowledge to help support clients seeking migration advice. Student Visas

Skilled Migration

Our services also provide representation for individuals and companies who seek to make an application for skilled migration to Australia. Some criteria that need to be met at first include:

  • Age – Applicants must be under 50 years of age
  • English Proficiency  – Applicants must have sufficient abilities in the English language– measured through the International English Language Testing System(IELTS)
  • Work Qualifications – Applicants must be assessed and deemed suitable for their nominated occupation
  • Open Position for Nominated Occupation – Applicants must ensure that the nominated occupation they are applying for is included on the Skilled Occupations List. They must also ensure that there is indeed an open position in said occupation
  • Skills Assessment – Applicants must be assessed by the relevant Australian assessing authority. They must be deemed suitable for the position or nominated occupation that they are applying for in Australia
  • Health assessment – Applicants must go through a medical assessment to ensure that they are in good health
  • Character assessment – Applicants must be of good character– this involves a criminal record check
